Duke’s Young Guns 2022 won its second straight Championship, going 5-0 at the Passport Alliance/National 175 Jersey Shore Challenge last weekend. The 2022’s won two out of the three summer tournaments it entered, going 15-2 overall.

“The guys really gained a lot of confidence throughout the summer and really put up a dominate performance in the Jersey Shore Challenge,” said co-coach Jack Forster. “Everyone across the board contributed, especially both goalies (Aiden Peters, Brayden Skipper), who posted a shut out in the Championship game and our faceoff guys (Pierce Hart, Jordan Butler), who have both come a long way since the beginning of the year.
“Offensively and defensively we were very consistent and unselfish playing tough and smart lacrosse. It was a great year, coach Pete Schwartz and myself can’t wait for Tryouts August 18th, 19th, and 20th and the upcoming year.”
