From Press Release

Swarthmore College Men’s Lacrosse senior faceoff specialist Stephen Ducey was named to the US Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association/Nike Scholar All-American list for 2017.

Stephen Ducey

The award honors senior student-athletes who have distinguished themselves athletically and academically. Players are nominated by their coaches and must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and must also be an outstanding conference player. The scholar all-american committee selected 78 NCAA Division III student-athletes from around the country.

Ducey, an economics major, has been recognized earlier this year as the top faceoff specialist in the Centennial Conference. He won a league-best 64.4 percent of his faceoff attempts in 2017.
