The Rising Sons Lacrosse Club has named Adam Dzedzy and Ryan Rohde as Co-Head Coaches for its 2024 team.
Dzedzy, an assistant at Malvern Prep, is a 2002 Graduate of Malvern Prep where he played attack and earned All American, All State and All Inter-Ac as a senior. He played Division 1 Lacrosse at Sacred Heart.
Rohde, an assistant at Randolph-Macon last year, is also a 2002 graduate of Malvern Prep where he was an All American midfielder. He played at Salisbury University where it compiled a 79-2 record and three National Championships during his time there under legendary Coach Jim Berkman. In 2006 Rohde was awarded the Andy Jones award for Most Improved Player.
“Both Adam and Ryan share our clubs passion for teaching fundamentals and doing the little things right,” said Rising Sons Director Tad Doyle. “Their professional success coupled with their success on the field as players and coaches fits perfectly with our goals of teaching kids how to compete! We have moved the first tryout to August 10th at Episcopal Academy. We are looking to field a small rostered team of 20 kids.”
Registration is open for the Rising Sons Tryouts for boys in the classes of 2020 to 2024. The 2020 tryout on Aug. 10 at Episcopal Academy from 6-8 p.m. is the only tryouts for that age class. The upcoming 2021-2014 tryouts will be second for those classes.
Open tryouts will be held at Episcopal Academy and Malvern Prep on these days:
Rising Sons 2020 – August 10 from 6-8 PM at Episcopal Academy
Rising Sons 2021 – August 9 from 6-8 PM at Episcopal Academy
Rising Sons 2022 – August 7th 6-8 PM at Episcopal Academy
Rising Sons 2023 – August 8th 6-8 PM at Episcopal Academy
Rising Sons 2024 – August 10th 6-8 PM at Episcopal Academy
