The Penn*Lax All-Stars coaching staff has been released and it was announced that tryouts will be held on Nov. 26-28.
Penn*Lax All-Stars, Pennsylvania’s premier elite box lacrosse travel team, has announced its coaching staff. Penn*Lax is a gathering of elite box players in Pennsylvania that is designed not to conflict with your current club. Penn*Lax consistently competes against the best competition in the country for box lacrosse and has competed and won tournaments consistently over the course of the last three years. The greatest benefit is the robust and compact box lacrosse training delivered by one of the most qualified box lacrosse coaching staffs in the country!
Tryouts: Sunday Nov 26 @XL Sports World in Hatfield and Saturday Nov 27 and Nov 28 at Maple Zone S[ports Institute in Garnet Valley.

P*L Platinum: 10-12th Eligible: Adam Mueller, Eric Hoffman, Todd MacFarlane
P*L Silver: 9/10th Eligible: Luke Wiles, Matthew McCormick
P*L Advance: 7/8 Eligible: Alex Turner, Tom Slate
P*L Rise: 5/6 Eligible: Steven Holmes, Joey Sankey

Monday November 27, at Maplezone (1451 Conchester Hwy, Garnet Valley, PA)

Penn*Lax Platinum (10th-12th Eligible)
Coach Adam Mueller
Coach Eric Hoffman
Coach Mueller has been an NLL player, NLL coach of the year, and team USA box offensive coordinator. Coach Mueller is one of the most respected lacrosse minds in the country.
Coach Hoffman is a veteran Philadelphia Wings defenseman as well as an MLL defenseman with the Barrage. Coach Hoffman is currently the strength and conditioning director at Ursinus college.
Penn*Lax Silver (9th-10th Eligible)
Coach Luke Wiles
Coach Matt McCormick
Coach Wiles was a 3-time All-Star forward and powerful goal scorer throughout his 8-year NLL career. A native Canadian from Orillia Canada, Coach Wiles used the box game to earn a scholarship to the University of Delaware. Currently Coach Wiles is the Head Coach at Archbishop Carrol HS.
Coach McCormick is a member of the Drexel University All-Time 75th Anniversary Team. He was a two time Captain at Drexel and is the current defensive Coordinator at Malvern Prep.

Coach Alex Turner
Coach Tom Slate
Coach Turner was an 8-year NLL standout for the San Jose Stealth, Philadelphia Wings, and Colorado Mammoth. Currently Coach Turner is a full-time staff member and grass-roots campaign manager with the Philadelphia Wings. Coach Slate was a star for the Philadelphia Wings and also served as their defensive coach for two years. Coach Slate has twice been an MLL Head Coach and is currently the defensive coordinator at Episcopal Academy.
Penn*Lax Rise (5th-6th Eligible)
Coach Steven Holmes
Coach Joey Sankey
Coach Holmes was a standout defenseman at UVA and then played a combined 15 years in both the MLL and NLL pro leagues. Holmes played most recently with the Wings and was an MLL champion in 2015 with the NY Lizards. Coach Holmes is currently the head coach at Unionville HS.
Coach Sankey is currently one of the best attackman in the world and plays for the Charolette Hounds of the MLL. Sankey was a multi-year All-American and is the All-Time leading goal scorer in UNC history. Currently Coach is the offensive coordinator at Penn Charter School.
General Manager: Todd McFarlane
Coach MacFarlane is a proven coach and administrator at the highest levels. Todd was an NLL player for the Anaheim Storm for two years and moved on as both director of operations and coach at Malvern Prep, the University of Maryland, and most recently as an assistant coach at the University of Pennsylvania
General Assistant: Kevin Crowley
Coach Crowley’s Professional NLL schedule prevents him from being a full time Coach but Kevin will be a very strong presence all winter long with Penn*Lax. Coach Crowley is one of the most accomplished lacrosse players in the World having won a world championship with Team Canada, and MLL MVP award, and was the only player to be drafted 1st in the MLL and NLL.
