Luke Stansfield had four goals and an assist and Carson Marano posted 14 saves while Gavin Tygh won 10 of 12 faceoffs as visiting Penn Charter toppled Episcopal Academy, 6-3, Friday night to further tighten an already balanced Inter-Ac League boys’ race.
Episcopal Academy (7-3 overall) falls into a first-place tie at 4-2 with Haverford School and Malvern Prep. Penn Charter (7-9), which has won three of its last four league games, and Springside Chestnut Hill Academy are 3-3. Germantown Academy is 0-6.
Blake Target and Dylan Schwartz each added a goal and an assist for the Quakers.
