Ohio State freshman short-stick midfielder Ryan Terefenko (Wilson, NXT Lacrosse) was named a third-team USILA All-American for 2017.
Terefenko, from Sinking Spring, played in the Buckeyes’ first 18 games. He had 11 points, with five goals and six assists, along with 28 groundballs and three caused turnovers. He had a goal, two assists and three points in the Buckeyes’ win over Denver.
Terefenko is one of just three true freshmen in Buckeye history to earn All-America accolades. He helped the Buckeyes post a program record 16 wins and reach the NCAA semifinals and final for the first time.
