Moorestown wins South Jersey Group 3 girls’ championship with 11-7 win over Seneca

Kacy Knobloch scored five goals as host Moorestown defeated Seneca, 11-7, today to win the South Jersey Group 3 championship.

Moorestown (19-2) – tied for the No. 1 team in the Phillylacrosse.com Rankings – advances to next Tuesday’s game agains Central Jersey Champ Notre Dame, a team that the Quakers defeated earlier in the season 19-1.

Ava Frantz added two goals and an assist while Robin Panzarella had a goal and two assists and three caused turnovers. Emily Culbertson, Quinn Nicolai also scored and Maddie Lucidi had five saves.
