Appoquinimink High School 2017 attackman Cross Ferrara has committed to play Division III lacrosse at Salisbury University.

Cross Ferrara profile:

Cross Ferrara

High School: Appoquinimink High School, DE

Grad year: 2017

Position: Attack

College committed to: Salisbury University

Club team: Twist

Lacrosse honors: 3x First Team All Conference; 2nd Team All State Sophomore; 1st Team All State Junior; U.S Lacrosse All American

What do you plan to major in? Business

Why did you choose the school? “I chose Salisbury because of the endless academic and athletic opportunities. It was important for me to play close to home and Salisbury allowed me to play for one or the best teams in the country with my parents right around the corner. The Salisbury coaching staff made it easy for me to make this decision.”

HS team’s Outlook for 2017 season: “Last season we made it to the State Championship and lost. This year we are looking strong and hoping to make another appearance and win it all.”

Thank You: “Nothing I have done or accomplished would have been possible without my parents. I would like to thank Coach Green who taught me the game; Coach Mcguigan who helped me develop into a man on and off the field, and mentored me to become a successful student athlete; the whole Twist Coaching staff for putting me in the right positions to succeed and be looked at by many college coaches; and lastly Coach Cov who made me the player I am, pushing me to my limits and more. Without this amazing coach and mentor nothing I have done on the lacrosse field would have been possible. All my teammates and coaches: Thank you; without you all none of this would have been possible.”
