Comprised of boys from Kennett Square, Garnet Valley, Unionville, Downingtown, Conestoga and surrounding areas, team Brotherly Love Gold won the 2023 B title last weekend at the NXT Meltdown at United Sports in Downingtown.
Team Brotherly Love Gold wins the 2023B title at NXT’s Meltdown
Team Brotherly Love Gold went undefeated by beating PA based iM3 Lacrosse, PA based Mesa Fresh, and PA based Springfield Cougars in pool play. In the semifinals BL squared off against Philadelphia Freedom, winning 7-3.
Going into the championship BL faced off against NJ based SouthShore Lacrosse. In a well-played and hard fought game in the heat of the Summer, Brotherly Love prevailed 7-4.
Team broerly Love players: Wolfie Schnatz, William Hohn, Michael Waite, Charlie May, Danny Kupiec, Casey Rose, Noah Kerzner, Keegan Golden, Kyle Anthony, Tyler Kochendorfer, Tyler Ryburn, Barclay Wilson, Nick Bournazel, Chris Faith, Jake Zarett, Colin Smith, and Kevin Green. Team Brotherly Love is coached by HC Wade Goldt along with assistants Jules Raucci, Robert Raucci and Zach Jones.
