The 8th Annual Checking For Cancer Invitational will be held Saturday at three sites in suburban Philadelphia.
This charity tournament benefits programs targeted to community support, research, education and awareness of prostate, colorectal and testicular cancers.
The Haverford School, The Shipley School and Agnes Irwin School will serve as hosts.
At The Haverford School, the host Fords – who went 26-0 last year and finished as the No. 1 team in the nation in every national poll – will play Gonzaga College (D.C.) at noon.
At Agnes Irwin, the host Owls (23-1 last year), ranked No. 18 in the STEPS Lacrosse Rankings, will face No. 2 Our Lady of Good Counsel (MD) at 10:30 a.m.
