From Press Release
Two local lacrosse players have launched a summer camp for youth boys at a unique end-of-the-summer time at United Sports in Downingtown.
Dustin Keen and Tyler Rankel are both local guys from Downingtown! Tyler Rankel graduated from Downingtown West High School, where he was coached by Tom Hannum. Rankel eventually went on to play Division 1 Lacrosse at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh. Dustin Keen, also Downingtown West alumni (2011), played under Tom Hannum and continued his education and lacrosse career at Division 1 St. Joseph’s University. Keen played for the Duke’s L.C. and Rankel for HEADstrong.
The “Tune Up Your Skills” lacrosse camp is for anyone interested in learning, growing and improving their game. This camp is great for all levels of experience and the coaching will be tailored to match. With a strong focus on fundamentals and on-the-field decision making, each player will develop the qualities to be successful in their next season. We have developed unique and successful ways to coach in order to maximize our time spent with the players. With the understanding that each kid learns differently, we have created many ways to teach and keep the attention of the younger players.
