Registration is open for the St. Joseph’s University men’s lacrosse program Junior Hawks (boys in Grades 4 to 9) and Youth Developmental (boys in Grades 1 to 3) camps.
Junior Hawks Day Camp

Dates: Wednesday, July 27th – Friday, July 29th
Time: 9:00am-3:00pm (1 hour break for lunch – provided by the camp)
Location: Ellen Ryan Field – Astro Turf (Maguire Campus)
Ages: Boys entering 4th-9th grade (players of all experience levels are welcome)
Price: $215, plus 3% CC fee (There is a $20 dollar sibling discount. Must have all registrants in your cart to receive discount.)
Check-in/Check-out: will take place at Curran field each morning and afternoon.
DESCRIPTION:
The Junior Hawks Day Camp was created to give players a fun-filled full day camp experience. As always at SJU lacrosse camps, we focus on skill development, building sound technique and a thorough understanding of the game. Camp will include fundamental work (passing, catching, shooting, ground balls, footwork), specific positional instruction, transition, unsettled play, small-sided competitions and game simulations.
SUMMER SNIPER SCHOOL (ATTACK AND MIDFIELD):
This clinic will focus on teaching and developing the different fundamental movements of shooting; catch and shoot, hitch and go, shooting on the run, inside shooting, and more! The goal is to provide each clinic participant a substantial number of repetitions and attention from the Saint Joseph’s University coaching staff.
$160 (plus 3% CC fee)
DOMINANTE THE PAINT (DEFENSE AND GOALIES):
Here we build each camper from the ground up. Starting with the basics of stance, footwork, angles and mobility. We then progress to stick-work, ground ball play, outlets and proper communication. If you want to dominate the defensive end – this clinic is for you!

Our Youth Development Camp is designed to help young players improve their fundamentals and build better lacrosse IQ. By increasing skill and improving understanding we help to build confidence and enhance enjoyment of the game. Whether your son plays goalie, defense, midfield or attack, they will learn firsthand from our knowledgeable and energetic coaching staff what it means to be a well rounded player. This will be a fantastic, learning intensive camp – don’t miss your chance to participate! We offer two distinct programs outlined below.
