Registration is open for the John Nostrant Summer Lacrosse Camps at The Haverford School.

Now in their 21st year, the John Nostrant camps are for boys in 1st grade through rising 8th grade.

The Nostrant camps provide the ultimate summer lacrosse environment with a combination of excellent instruction and fun.

The Nostrant camps have been the Winner of the Main Line’s “Best Lacrosse Camp Award”

Camp Session 1: June 27-30 Haverford School
Camp Session 2: July 11-14 Haverford School

Full Day and Half Day options
Camps for boys in grades 1st – rising 8th grade

1) Instruction
– Instruction for all levels – beginner, novice and advanced
– Players are grouped by age and ability
– Experienced, positive coaches from all over the area
– Individual skill development & improvement
– Positional instruction for Attack, Midfield, Defense, Goalie, Face-off
– Slicker stick work with both hands
– Harder and more accurate shooting
– Dodging to score and feed
– Dominating defense – defending the field and checks
– Goalies – quicker hands and efficient outlet passes

2) Team concepts
– Transition and settled offense and defense
– Reading half and full field situations
– Constant activity and high repetition drills

3) Environment
– Both sites are safe and secure
– Full-time certified sports-medicine staff
– Experienced adult staff of current high school coaches and players
– Air conditioned indoor facility
– Heat and weather conditions are monitored closely

4) Fun
– Guest speakers
– Championship Thursdays
