Coach’s outlook: “Entering our third year of high school lacrosse, we are jumping in with both feet into the SOL National Conference. Fifty percent of the team is returning players who have now played the sport for three years plus, and the other 50 percent just started to learn the game on March 7. We hope to hold our own on the field and give the other members of our conference a tough matchup. We are looking to build on our win total of five from last year’s independent schedule.”

Coach’s outlook: “We have five returning seniors – Ofalt, Schneider, L. Goodwin, Halteman and Olivia Toler – with strong underclassmen adding depth and longevity to the program. Our goals are to maintain the winning conference seasons of the past few years while developing our younger players to continue with many more successful years of the program. We hope to use our cohesive and aggressive defensive unit to control possession and translate that into goals on the attacking end of the field with a wide range of players who are capable of putting points on the board. The coaching staff hopes to bring a positive energy and an unbelievable amount of experiences as a players and coaches to the program.”
UPPER DUBLIN
Coach: Lauren Mateja, first season; Assistant coaches: Hannah Vogel, Tara Brady, Amy Coffey
Last year’s record: 9-9 overall, 6-3 SOL

Others to watch: Elizabeth Barber (JR, M), Jessica Grodsky (JR, M), Lindsey Schreiber (SO, M), Caroline Wall (SO, M)
Outlook: “Cardinals Lacrosse is looking to make some serious noise inside the SOL this year. After losing only two starters from last year’s lineup, one of UD’s biggest strengths is game experience. With knowledge and All-Conference leadership on both sides of the ball, the Cardinals will look to control the tempo of each game and make smart plays. From the starters on the field to the teammates and coaches on the sideline, every single Lady Cardinal is hungry to bring a conference championship back home.”
UPPER MORELAND

Others to watch: Madison Pisut 11th grade defense, Jess Flanagan – 10th grade midfield
Coach’s outlook: “We have a solid group of returners that will need to blend with younger players. The Bears’ success will depend on how they compete against tougher non league opponents and good teams in their own league.”
