Coatesville 2018 goalie Casey Hammond has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Academic Honors: All honors and AP classes. S.P.I.R.I.T. student problem-solving group. Drama club. German club. DECA/FBLA.

What will you major in/study? Business/Marketing

Why did you choose the school? “I chose NJIT because it is a great school with a great location, and the great new facilities coming soon I’m excited to be a part of this new program and help the team grow.”

HS team’s outlook for 2017 season? “Coatesville currently does not have a boys’ lacrosse program yet, we plan to have a club team for this spring season.”

Thank You: “I’d like to thank my original rec league team coaches; Coach Dougherty, Coach Angel, Coach Smith, Coach Tompkins, and Coach Hibbs. Without them pushing me I never would have been able to get on the NXT lacrosse team which provided me the superb coaching and opportunities that it brought me to this point. As well as all of the NXT coaches such as; Coach Kupprion, Coach Arra, Coach Pogo, and Coach Mayberry. And finally I’d like to thanks my Mother and Father for supporting throughout my whole lacrosse career.”
