Owen J. Roberts 2017 defender Sydney Drumheller has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at la Salle University.

What will you major in/study? Undecided
Why did you choose this school? “I chose La Salle because it was the perfect fit for me. I love the campus and atmosphere there, it felt like home. The school provides challenging academics as well as a competitive lacrosse program which is exactly what I was looking for. Coach Candace (Taglianetti Bossell) is exactly what I am looking for in a coach and I am excited to continue my career there.”
Outlook for 2017 HS season? “We had a very successful season last year, we were PAC-10 champions, District I finalists and made it to the state quarterfinals. We have lost a few key seniors but also will have some great additions to the team and coaching staff. Overall, I believe we have a very strong team and coach and foresee us being very successful this year.”
People to thank: “I would like to thank my parents for supporting me and pushing me to be the lacrosse player I am today. I would also like to thank all the coaches (Coach Tornetta, Coach Kristen and Coach McNevin) that have encouraged me and taught me all I know. I would also like to thank my teammates for motivating me and always having my back. I would lastly like to thank my brother for teaching me to be competitive and inspiring me to be the best I can be.”
