What will you major in/study? Elementary Education
Why did you choose the school? “I chose the University of Virginia because when I stepped onto the grounds it felt like home already. UVA has everything I want from an amazing education major to an excellent lacrosse team. The coaching staff and team were so welcoming to me and were super nice. Charlottesville is an amazing college town that I cannot wait to live in for the next 4 years!”
HS team’s outlook for 2016 season? “As it is my last season at Agnes Irwin, I really hope that the seniors make a mark at AIS. We have a tough schedule this year, but I really think with our younger girls stepping up and the seniors playing to our potential we will have a very successful and fun season. It is going to be very sad to see the season end but I know that when the seniors leave we have left the team in good hands!”
Thank You: “I would like to thank my dad and mom for supporting me throughout the whole recruiting process. I would also like to thank them for being so flexible and nice about waking up at the crack of dawn to drive me to lacrosse tournaments. I would like to thank my club coaches: Coach Beers and Coach Frazier. I could not thank Coach Duck enough for the time she has put in for our team and all of the help and support she has given me on the field and off the field. I would not be where I am today without Coach Duck. Lastly, I would like to thank my amazing teammates and 2016 seniors for always being there for me and helping me along the way.”
