Goalie Leroy Moser was a standout with 17 saves to lift ninth-seeded Germantown Academy to an 8-3 win over Academy of the New Church Monday in the first round of the Inter-Ac Challenge.
GA (10-12) advances to meet No. 1 seed Culver Academy in the quarterfinals Wednesday at the Proving Grounds in Conshohocken at 7:30 p.m.
Justin Connors scored twice for GA and Jimmy McAfee had a goal and two assists.
James Vandegrift had a goal and two assists and tied ANC’s career points record with 321 in only three years.
Penn Charter 7, Springside Chestnut Hill Academy 5
Drew Gallant had two goals and three assists, Sean McKee made 14 saves and Gavin Tygh won 10 of 15 face-offs as the No. 7 Quakers (6-13) toppled the Devils.
Cody Sweeney had two goals and an assist, Mac Wilson had a goal and two assists and Blake Target had a goal and an assist for PC, which faces No. 2 Haverford School at 5 p.m.
Brendan Clark led No. 10 SCHA (8-11) with two goals.
Episcopal Academy 12, Hill School 4
Jake Martellucci had five goals and two assists and Dan Baker scored three goals while Christian Feliziani won 15 of 18 faceoffs as No. 6 Episcopal Academy advanced to meet Inter-Ac rival and No. 3 Malvern Prep in the quarterfinals.
Connor Ringwalt added a goal and four assists and Jake Floyd-Jones posted 10 saves for the Churchmen (7-12)
Hun School 14, Shipley School 8
Owen Black had four goals and an assist and Luke Prybylski added three goals and two assists to lead No. 5 Hun School. Griffin Moroney and Matt Schleicher each added two goals for the Raiders (11-6).
Hun will play No. 4 Lawrenceville (13-9) Wednesday at 5 p.m.
Tate Gallagher led the Gators (9-9) with three goals, an assist and five groundbvalls while Amir Fluellen had three goals and an assist.

Owen Black (Villanova) continued his standout senior campaign with four goals, an assist and seven ground balls and Luke Prybylski (Villanova) had three goals and two assists as the No. 5 Raiders pulled away from the No. 12 Gators.
Hun, which takes on No. 4 Lawrenceville School in a rivalry rubber match on Wednesday night at 5, got seven saves from Jon Levine (Princeton). Tate Gallagher (Richmond) had three goals, an assist and five ground balls for Shipley.
