William & Mary lacrosse head coach Hillary Fratzke has announced that eight student-athletes will join the program for the 2015-16 academic year.
“We are so excited about our incoming freshman class and what they will bring to the team as we start the fall,” Fratzke said. “In addition to being quality individuals of strong character, they are fierce competitors on the field who are excited to learn from and push their teammates. The team has put so much work over the past years to build a culture of accountability, passion and togetherness. I am confident the freshmen will contribute to that and help the team progress even further.”
The following is a brief look at the Tribe’s 2015-16 recruiting class:
Holly Hager

Four-year letterwinner as midfielder/defender for head coach Marie Pepper at West Chester East High School … Two-time team captain … Earned first-team all-league and first-team all-area as a senior after leading her team in every statistical category … Averaged 3.6 goals per game, 2.0 assists per game, 2.0 caused turnovers per game, 3.0 ground balls and 5.0 draw controls per game in 2015 … Ranked as the league’s fifth-highest scorer in the league as a senior … Garnered first-team all-league and second-team all-area honors as a junior … Earned Coaches Award as a freshman … Four-year letterwinner in basketball and two-year letterwinner in soccer … Served as a team captain in basketball … Member of the National Honor Society and Business Honor Society … Medal winner with the DECA Business Club … Volunteered with Best Buddies, Kare Club and Interact Club … Also volunteered as a tutor and mentor …
