The Widener women’s lacrosse program has added Jennifer Valore (Moorestown) to the sidelines for the 2016 campaign.
Valore is currently the assistant conference director at the Philadelphia Coaches Conference. She is responsible for conference external communications, including social media and outreach. In addition to social media management, she is responsible for assisting in event planning and logistics.
She is the girls program director at Southshore Lacrosse. The South Jersey club is a year round program that focuses on player development and exposure to high level competition.
Since January 2015, she has worked as the director of team training for Reaction Lacrosse. Valore is responsible for development of team training curriculum and coaching of team training sessions. She currently is also a volunteer coach for the Philly Girls in Motion Lacrosse Club. As a coach for the club, she provides lacrosse instruction and teaches skill development and rules of play to girls in 2nd through 7th grade. Philly Girls in Motion Lacrosse Club is a volunteer-driven organization that engages girls in sports, fitness, activities and education that encourages healthy habits.
She previously helped build and development the first Division I varsity women’s lacrosse program at the University of Michigan. She served as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the Wolverines from December 2011 until May of 2014.
Valore served as an assistant coach at the Division I women’s lacrosse program at Temple University from October 2004 for two years. She assisted in practice planning, recruiting, and travel coordination.
Valore earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from James Madison University in 2000. She also holds a master’s degree in communications from Drexel University in 2002. Valore is currently pursuing a doctorate in educational leadership and management from Drexel.
