The Wasatch Lacrosse Club (UT) will make a trip East for the third straight year to play Philly boys’ club teams and compete in the Tri-State National tournament on July 11-12.wasatch-LC

Wasatch will play three games this week vs. Philly club teams, Tuesday vs 380 Lacrosse, Wednesday vs Dukes L.C. and Thursday vs Black Bear. All scrimmages start at 6:30 pm and will be held at the Chestnut Hill College Grass Field 9601 Germantown Ave, Philadelphia, PA 1911.

This weekend Wasatch will compete in the Tri-State National lacrosse festival in the Princeton (NJ) area.

Wasatch played last weekend in the Vail Lacrosse Shootout in the HS U-19 Division and reached the Division II final.

“We are tremendously excited to bring the team East for the third consecutive summer,” said Wasatch General Manager and coach Adam Eddinger, also an assistant coach at Chestnut Hill College. “Wasatch LC provides a team experience like no other club in the country.

“Year after year, we boast an unselfish roster of players from at least 10 or more high schools across the state of Utah. The exposure and experience these players gain in a week coming back east has proved to help their confidence, team play and on field performance the following spring for their HS teams.

“This year we will tour Philadelphia area colleges, scrimmage top local clubs (380 Lacrosse, Dukes LC & Black Bear), sample Philly’s best foods and head to TriState at the end of the week. I am very excited to pick the team up at the airport tonight and take them for Pat’s & Geno’s cheesesteaks!”
