From Press Release
Over a 180 teams are expected to attend the Project 120 girls’ lacrosse tournament June 26-28 at Lehigh University.
WHAT: Project 120 is a youth lacrosse tournament and recruiting showcase for the high school aged girls and is one of the fastest growing tournaments in the nation. This tournament gives back to a non-profit or cause every year. In addition, to a direct percentage of the team’s registration fees being donated, teams are urged to fundraise and get involved with the non-profit on their own. The organizers of this event wanted to come together through the sport of lacrosse and support smaller non-profits, who are trying to make a big difference in our communities and world. This year the event is supporting Lacrosse the Nations!
Almost 70 youth teams will participate in a Championship Format tournament. The remaining 110 teams are high school girls coming to showcase their abilities in front of some of the Nation’s top recruiters. Teams attending represent various states: CT, MD, MA, NJ, NY, OH, PA, and WA! The event had over 50 college coaches in the nation attend last year, and more are expected this year as the tournament has grown significantly. Every college coach in the nation will have the ability to view all games of the 2016-2018 age groups via the events partnership with Touchline Video and TeamXstream. Over 400 college coaches will have access to all games.
WHEN: Youth girls play Friday, June 26-27th; The High School girls will play Saturday, June 27-28th.
