Emily Games collected four goals and two assists to lead Radnor to a 12-9 victory today over Garnet Valley in the quarterfinals of the District 1 girls’ lacrosse tournament at West Chester East.
The second-seeded Raiders (19-1) advance to meet third-seeded Harriton in the semifinals Tuesday at 7:45 p.m. at Haverford High.
Lexi Kenneally and Megan Massimino each had two goals for the Raiders and Maddie Lally posted nine saves.
The seventh-seeded Jaguars (12-9), who will play Unionville in the first round of the playbacks on Tuesday, got four goals from Kamryn McNeal.
Conestoga 17, Springfield-Delco 7
Sondra Dickey had six goals and three assists, Scottie Rose Growney collected three goals, two assists and 12 draw controls and Maggie Stetson tallied three goals to lead the top-seeded Pioneers (20-1) to the easy win.
The Pioneers will face Great Valley in the semifinals Tuesday at Haverford High at 6 p.m. fourth-seeded Great Valley downed Souderton, 15-7
Monica Borzillo added two goals and two assists and Laney Stenson (five) and Jules Horning (two) combined for seven saves.
Bailey O’Brien led the Cougars (16-5) with goals while Emily Santana had two goals and an assist and Cailyn Gormley scored twice. Springfield will play Souderton Tuesday in a playback game.
Harriton 14, Unionville 11
Jane Henderson collected five goals, four assists, four caused turnovers and three groundballs while Laura Lasprogata had four goals to lead the third-seeded Rams (18-3).
Harriton will meet second-seeded Radnor at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday at Haverford High. Unionville (16-4) will play Garnet Valley in the playbacks Tuesday.
Alex Ladda added three goals and three draw controls for Harriton while Greta Stahl had two goals and two assists and Emma Arronson had five groundballs and two caused turnovers.
