Spring-Ford rallied from a three-goal halftime deficit with a 7-1 run and claimed a 9-6 Pioneer Athletic Conference girls’ lacrosse victory Friday over Methacton.
The Rams (1-0 league, 1-1 overall) got two goals each from Casey Trimbur, Brianna Cirino and Camryn Jones and Sam Walters posted 14 saves.
Sarah Hughes had two goals and an assist and Jess McNally added two goals for the Warriors (1-1, 1-1). Goalie Sam Rothman posted 10 saves.
Gwynedd-Mercy Academy 18, Villa Maria Academy 1
Ashley Stefanowicz and Kelly Pizzirani each had five goals for Gwynedd Mercy.
Owen J. Roberts 17, Souderton Area 7
Kerry Huzzard scored six goals and Maddie Gebert added three while Sara Maute made 11 saves to lead OJR to a win.
Amber Lambeth had three goals for the Indians.
Haverford 16, Avon Grove 6
Jess Mellon scored five goals and Mairead Janzer had two goals and three assists while Laura Winters added three goals and an assist for the Fordf\s.
Regan Cook had three goals for Avon Grove.
Kennard-Dale 17, Kennett 16, 2OT
Vicki Gallivan had five goals and an assist and Kelsey Mentzer scored five times for Kennett in the heartbreaking loss.
Downingtown East 14, Council Rock North 8
Sarah Kollhoff scored five goals and Victoria Barretta added four for the Cougars in the non-league win.
Devon Mela had three goals and an assist for the Indians.
