Pomona-Pitzer (CA) junior midfielder Ally McLaughlin (Harriton) was named the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year for the second straight season in 2015 and led the Sagehens to their first conference title and first NCAA Division III victory.

Pomona-Pitzer captured its first NCAA Tournament win (7-5 over Occidental) before bowing to eventual runner-up Trinity in the third round.
McLaughlin was an IWLCA First-Team All-West Region pick for the second straight year and also an SCIAC All-Academic team pick for the second straight season. She tallied 19 goals and 17 assists and led the Sagehens in caused turnovers (45), ground balls (69) and draw controls (78).
She scored the tying goal late in regulation of a 7-6 triple-overtime win over Occidental, which clinched the SCIAC regular-season title for the Sagehens.
