From Press Release
There’s no better way to spend Martin Luther King Day than at NXTsports’ free NXT Field Day.
The inaugural NXT Field Day will be held Jan. 18, 2016 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Main Line Sports Center and feature NXTsoccer, Cradle Lacrosse, NXT LC Boys and Girls, SPARK Field Hockey, NXTfieldhockey, speed and agility training and NXTolympics.
NXT Field Day’s mission is to expose all of NXT’s sports education programs to boys and girls ages 4-15. There will also be a moon bounce, a fastest shot competition and prizes and games throughout the day. NXT’s entire education staff will be on site, as will guest coaches.
NXT partners Gatorade, Premier Orthopaedics and Alex’s Lemonade Stand will be a part of the NXT Field Day. Click here (http://www.alexslemonade.org/mypage/1208949) to donate to Alex’s Lemonade Stand.
“This is going to be an incredible opportunity for kids to learn about everything that NXT has to offer,” NXT Director of Education Dylan Brown said. “We encourage anyone who comes out to take part in multiple sessions so they can play different sports. They’ll get to learn from our top-of-the-line coaching staff and have fun all day for free.”
