McDonogh (MD) 2016 goalie Michael Romefelt has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Widener University.

Why did you choose school? “Widener University provides an amazing student-athlete experience where you can receive an amazing education and still play at a high level verses many highly regarded Division III teams.”
HS Team’s outlook for 2016: “The McDonogh team is extremely underrated this year. We have a young yet very strong offense that is supported by a solid defense that any team will have trouble with.”
Who to thank? “Coach (Andy) Hilgartner – McDonogh Head Coach – who helped me immensely with my college recruitment process. Also my parents who have worked day and night to help me find a school that can provide me a great education and still play for a respected program.”
