Why did you choose Stevenson? “I feel the size of the school and the academic offerings will work well with my learning style and provide me with an excellent opportunity to further my education. I feel the location gives me a chance for independence and growth, but still close enough for my parents to come see me play on game day.”
Outlook for 2016 HS season? “We lost some key seniors, but we will be bringing up some new talent and hopefully winning the District XI title four years in a row.”
Thank You: “I would like to thank my parents for all of their support and taking me to the all the practices and tournaments over the years. A big thanks to Lou and Desi Gonzalez, my long time Skyhawks Elite club coaches for teaching me all the skills that got me here today. My high school coaches Scott Ketchum and JD Wilson for supporting me through my continued development on and off the field.
“Thanks to my coaches from Duke’s LC, Ebe Helm, Jason Christmas and the rest of the coaching staff for providing me with the opportunities to showcase my skills and play at a higher level which makes all the difference in this highly competitive recruiting environment.
“Additionally, I would like to thank Stevenson University Coaches Paul Cantabene and George Puls for giving me the opportunity to further my lacrosse career at the national level and the chance to play in the NCAA National Championship.”
