Centreville (VA) 2016 midfielder Matt Laurence has made a commitment to play Division III lacrosse at Delaware Valley University.

What will I study: “I will be going into pre-professional and working towards getting my Ph.D. to become a physical therapist.”
Why did I choose the school: “I fell in love with the campus/school right away, there wasn’t one thing I could complain about. I met some of the team and it was like I was already a part of the family when I got there. It is truly a perfect match for me.”
People to thank: “I want to thank my parents; thank you to my mom who has never given up on me in anything I do, and thank you to my step dad who isn’t even my real dad but has had faith in my this whole time and who has contributed to this whole experience just as much. I would like to thank my high school coach Jed Williams, for showing me that everything isn’t just about lacrosse; it’s about the school, and just being there for me whenever I needed you. And lastly but surely not least, thank you to my travel team coach, Richard Klares; thank you for EVERYTHING, you have really changed me and helped me grow in every single way to help me become the young man I am today. I love you just like family (Fatman).”
