What will you major in/study? Business

Why did you choose this school? “After my first visit at Cornell I felt at home. I instantly felt welcomed by the coaches and players at Cornell and a part of the Big Red community. I like Cornell’s proximity to home, location on Cayuga Lake, and academic rigor. Coming from a small high school, I enjoyed the idea of a large University that still allowed for the small community feel within the different colleges at Cornell. I hope to apply into the Cornell School of Business where I will receive an amazing education in business while working in a small group setting.”

HS team’s outlook for 2016 season? “We have a very competitive schedule this upcoming season – playing other nationally ranked teams – but we also have the potential and skill to have a very successful season. Last year our team only graduated one senior so we will have an older team in our 2016 season. Coach Duck (Jen Duckenfield) has built a strong lacrosse program at Agnes Irwin so that our bench is just as strong as the girls out on the field. I am looking forward to seeing everything our team does this year.”

People to thank: “I would like to thank my family for believing in me and putting in the time and work to get me to where I am today. I would also like to thank Coach Duck for talking with so many colleges to help me get recruited. Finally, I would like to thank my team for pushing me every day at practice to be a stronger player.”
