Why did you choose school? “Dartmouth is the perfect combination of academics and athletics. It was always on my radar, but when I visited campus and met Coach Patton and some of the girls on the team, I knew I had found a home. The close-knit community, school spirit, and tradition are very special and something I knew I wanted to be a part of. Hanover is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen and reminds me of many happy memories at my summer camp, Oneka.”
Outlook for your high school team: “We have come pretty far together since my freshman year. We are working hard to establish Agnes Irwin as one of the top programs in the region and in the country. Our schedule for 2016 is challenging to say the least, in and out of the Inter-Ac. But, we have an amazing group of girls and an exceptional coaching staff and we are committed to doing the work needed to establish a tradition of excellence at Agnes Irwin.”
Thank You: “I would like to thank my teammates at Agnes Irwin and Phantastix. These girls make it fun and I love playing with them! Thank you to Coach Duck, Coach Raech, and the all of the coaches at AIS who push me to get better every practice. I am grateful to my Phantastix coaches, especially Coach Frazer, Coach Yusko, and Coach Hager who helped teach me the value of hard work and perseverance. Thank you to the volunteers at Radnor Girls Youth Lacrosse who were my first coaches starting when I was eight: Coach Junior, Coach Geary, Coach Quinn, Coach Massimino, Coach Purvis, and my mom, Meg White. Their efforts have helped me and many other lacrosse players develop and go on to play in high school and college. Thanks to my parents, my brother Tommy, who plays catch with me, and my whole family for their love and support. And, of course, thanks to Coach Patton, Coach Moore, and Coach Jess at Dartmouth for this amazing opportunity.”
Other schools considered: Stanford University, Columbia University, Vanderbilt University
