American Indoor Lacrosse Association and Bucks Select Lacrosse announce the formation and partnership of a new Box Intensive/Field Integrated Lacrosse Program.

This cutting edge travel lacrosse program will integrate the bio mechanics, principles and strategies of Canadian box lacrosse to the field game. Johnny Mouradian, President of AILA, Canadian National Box Lacrosse Program Director and current Bryn Athyn College men’s Lacrosse Head Coach will be the Club’s director.

Jeff Bruemmer, President of Bucks Select, stated of the partnership: “I had the opportunity to watch Johnny’s Bryn Athyn College team play on many occasions and was amazed at how well he transitioned the box game to the field game as evidenced by Bryn Athyn having the number one shooting percentage in all of NCAA lacrosse.

“We are very excited about our partnership and feel this venture offer players a unique alternative to club lacrosse.

Said Mouradian: “The evidence is conclusive. Proper box lacrosse training is a significant vehicle for improving a field player’s level of play and lacrosse literacy. Canada has won two out of three Men’s World Field Championships and Canada’s Women just won the World U19 Championship.”

The AIL Select Club will play in two National Box tournaments in the winter and three Summer tournaments. The club will offer two teams its first year; 2020 and 2018 that will be based out of Bryn Athyn College in Montgomery County.
