.@BoathouseSports gears up for growth with new execs

Boathouse Sports today announced the addition of two key executives who will play vital roles in the company’s plans for future growth. E-commerce expert Jay Caddle will manage Boathouse’s e-commerce and marketing initiatives as the Director of E-Commerce and Integrated Marketing and respected athletic apparel designer Gail Sacharczuk will oversee new product development as the Director of Product Development and Merchandising.Boathouse

Jay Caddle comes to Boathouse with an extensive background in e-commerce management that he gained during his 15 years of service at WebLinc Commerce as a business analyst, information architect, senior project manager, account manager and senior solution engineer. In his new role Jay will be responsible for all of Boathouse Sports e-commerce initiatives as well as managing the company’s aggressive growth plans. Mr. Caddle is a 1997 graduate of the University of Delaware where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management.

Ms. Sacharczuk brings to Boathouse a lifelong passion for designing and developing team athletic apparel. In her role as the Director of Product Development and Merchandising, Gail will be responsible for the creation and execution of strategic seasonal product lines while providing silhouette and graphic direction for outerwear, sublimated men’s and women’s athletic uniforms and lifestyle apparel.

She will also oversee the testing of all new products to insure that they reflect Boathouse’s high standards of quality and ergonomic performance. Gail comes to Boathouse with extensive experience in team and retail team licensed apparel, highlighted by 16 years at Majestic Athletic as their Senior Designer, where she created the initial product line of MLB on-field MLB Coolbase® jerseys and outerwear worn by all 30 teams. Ms. Sacharczuk is a graduate of the Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, PA, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Fashion Design and Post-Baccalaureate study in Art Education.
