The Lacrosse Academy, located at the beautiful Pinelands Sports Center in Southampton, NJ, is currently accepting registration for Winter 2014 girls’ lacrosse classes. Classes began on January 15 and will run each Wednesday and Thursday, from 5:30-7:30PM through the last week of February. The Lacrosse Academy, the sole girls-only open lacrosse training academy serving South and Central NJ, provides top-flight training that has proven to fast-track skill development needed to be an outstanding lacrosse player. We have recruited top high school coaches to train players at their own level and pace of development, resulting in a fun, comfortable environment of learning. There are no membership fees or program commitments; just girls lacrosse training classes.
Class offerings include:
Wednesdays: – Grades 3-5 Stick Skills and Shooting & Dodging; – Grades 6-8 Advanced Stick Skills, Advanced Shooting & Dodging, and Play & Train; – Grades 9-12 Stick Skills and Shooting & Dodging
Thursdays: – Grades 9-12 1v1 Skills and Play & Train;

South Jersey Select Events 2014 Spring Tune-Up, a 5v5 Lacrosse Tournament on Feb. 17, at ISC Cherry Hill, 8am-12pm., 6th to 12th grade, Queen of the Turf competition and prizes! Cost is $65 per player, min. of 7 players, max. of 10 players per team. Cost includes a reversible Spring Tune Up pinnie. REGISTRATION: Put together your team! Girls Winter Skills Prep Sessions: Grades 5th-12th (all positions). Thursdays Jan 30th, Feb 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th (5 sessions 1 ½ hrs each) with Caitlin Kelley- Focus on getting ready for the spring season. Mix of fundamental skills, game strategy as well as off-ball movement, cutting and defensive skills double teaming and checking.
MSI also offers girls-private lessons, semi-private lessons, and team training. Our indoor fieldhouse allows us the ability to train regardless of the outside weather.

CrosseFire Instructional Lacrosse Clinics in January and February for girls in Grades 3 through 12. Clinics are available to all girls in grades 3 to 12. Seasoned high school athletes are challenged to meet the expectations of high level varsity and collegiate play. First time players are initiated into our country’s fastest growing sport. Clinics are held on either Saturdays or Sundays at two different locations.

Summer Camps
Academy of the New Church Boys’ and Girls’ summer lacrosse camp. The girls’ camp is being run by Abby Juliani (Stony Brook) and the camp will feature Division I college players as instructors. The ANC Boys’ and Girls’ Lacrosse Camp focuses on teaching the basic fundamentals of lacrosse and to promote the love and spirit of the game to young men between the ages of 6-14. This will allow for growth in the individual as well as the game itself. These basics will be grounded in the philosophy of playing the game. Boys and Girls Grades 1 to 9 invited. Skills to be taught: Positional instruction and team concepts; Building Lacrosse IQ; Shooting/Dodging/Footwork; Games featuring prizes! Lots of fun and instruction every day
