Cheltenham assistants
Cheltenham High School is currently accepting applications for varsity assistant boys’ lacrosse coaches. Specifically, we are looking for a defensive and/or offensive coordinator. Coaching at either the high school or collegiate level is preferred. Candidates should have a positive attitude, strong organization and communication skills, and an in-depth understanding of the game. Should be able to work with all levels of skill from beginner to advanced. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assisting the head coach in all aspects of coaching, practice preparation, game preparation, strategy, and game-day duties. Salary: TBD. Wilson High School, in West Lawn, PA is searching for an outgoing assistant boys’ lacrosse coach to complete our coaching staff for the 2014-2015 season. Applicants should have prior college playing experience and strong lacrosse knowledge.
The Wilson School District has an enrollment of 1,900 students in grades 9-12 and competes in the Berks County Interscholastic Athletic League and the PIAA District 3. The Wilson School District has outstanding facilities including two newly completed turf stadiums. The program is competitive at the County, District and State level, having lost in the District 3 Finals and PIAA State Quarter Finals in 2013 & 2014. This year’s team returns a majority of its players. Wilson also runs a successful youth feeder program grades K-8.
The coach’s primary responsibilities are assisting with team and player development to continue Wilson’s rich athletic tradition of teaching, enforcing and modeling character traits through discipline, sportsmanship, and community involvement. This is a paid, coaching-only position. Experience with using Hudl, breaking down film and reviewing with the team are preferred but not required. Coatesville head coach
Coatesville Area Senior High School is searching for a head girls lacrosse coach to implement a successful high school program: practices, games and training sessions; effectively monitor student-athlete academic progress and behavior; liaison between administration, student-athletes, parents and community; foster a positive relationship with the high school coaching staff and ensure smooth transition for student-athletes as they progress through the high school program; effectively communicate with the high school varsity assistant coach and willingness to implement the high school system. Wissahickon High School is searching for a girls’ head lacrosse coach for the 2014-15 school year. Coaching-only position; there is no teaching position linked to the coaching job.
Ideally, the candidate played both high school and college lacrosse and has previous coaching experience at the high school level. Candidates must have an excellent working knowledge of coaching all aspects of lacrosse including all PIAA rules; should be familiar with working with high school athletes in a school setting and be able to work with other sports using shared facilities; must be good motivators while keeping it “fun” with appropriate emphasis on academics, teamwork and sportsmanship; must be eligible to receive all three clearances in PA: State Police, Child Abuse and FBI.

North Penn High School is looking for a Head Coach to take over its highly successful girls’ lacrosse program. Applicants for this position must have previous coaching experience in a successful high school or club team. The applicant must be able to teach the skills necessary for the team to be successful in the Suburban One league and at the PIAA District One and PIAA Championship levels. Candidates must have good communication skills and be able to work with the boys’ lacrosse coach and parent support group. The coaching staff consists of a head coach and two assistants.
