A Naval Academy senior standout from St. Augustine Prep (N.J.) has been charged with first- and second-degree assault after allegedly threatening a cab driver with a butter knife early Easter Sunday near Annapolis, according to a report by the Associated Press/Washington Post.
Midshipman 2nd Class Gabriel Marc Voumard, of Cape May, N.J., was charged by Anne Arundel County police. (see article)
Voumard was named First-Team All-Patriot League on Monday. He was suspended indefinitely from the team and did not play in Monday’s Patriot League playoff game loss at Lehigh.
