Registration open for John Nostrant Camps; elite instruction, fun for boys in K through 8

Registration remains is open for the John Nostrant 2014 Summer Lacrosse Day Camps. All Camps run from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, for boys in grades Kindergarten through rising 8th grade. The program was named Winner of the Main Line’s “Best Lacrosse Camp Award.”

Dates

Session 1: June 23-26 at The Haverford School

Session 3: July 7-10 at The Haverford School

All Camps run from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Camps for boys in grades Kindergarten – rising 8th grade
Price: $375.
You can make a non-refundable deposit of $125 to save your spot and pay the remaining $250 on the first day of camp.

The camps feature elite instruction for all levels – beginner, novice and advanced; Experienced, positive coaches from all over the area; Individual skill development & improvement; Positional instruction for Attack, Midfield, Defense, Goalie, Face-off; team concepts; three turf fields, Guest speakers; Championship Thursdays. The camps are headed by Haverford School coach John Nostrant, a member of the Eastern PA Chapter of the US Hall of Fame who took his squad to an undefeated National title in 2011.

CAMP FEATURES

1) Instruction

Instruction for all levels – beginner, novice and advanced
Experienced, positive coaches from all over the area
Individual skill development & improvement
Positional instruction for Attack, Midfield, Defense, Goalie, Face-off
Slicker stickwork with both hands
Harder and more accurate shooting
Dodging to score and feed
Dominating defense – defending the field and checks
Goalies – quicker hands and efficient outlet passes

2) Team concepts

Transition and settled offense and defense
Reading half and full field situations
Constant activity and high repetition drills

3) Environment

Both sites are safe and secure
Full-time certified sports-medicine staff
Experienced adult staff of current high school coaches & players
Three Turf Fields
Air conditioned indoor facility if needed
