Head Coach: Jenny Purvis, 2nd Year

Last year’s record: 16-6, lost in OT to Strath Haven in District semi-final playback.

Coach’s Outlook: “After a rebuilding year in 2013, the Jaguars have been driven and committed in the off-season to prepare for a very successful season. With 9 starters and many key returners to the program, they have a lot of leadership this year. As always, the Central league will be very strong so there should be some exciting match-ups that come early this year!”

Lower Merion High School

Head Coach: Erika Baylis, 8th season

Last Year’s record: 10-8 (1st round of playoffs)

Key returning players:
Devon Scharf, goalie
Maddie Johnson, midfield
Paige Johnson, midfield
Adina Harris, defense
Emma Ungar, midfield

Coach’s Outlook: “We are hoping to build off of our success from last year. We have an extremely dedicated group of girls. These girls have worked hard in the off season to be better prepared for our 2014 season. So we are looking toward another playoff spot with the intent to go further in the playoff rounds.”
