From Press Release
The Philadelphia Wings, of the National Lacrosse League (NLL), trade in their traditional red and black uniforms in exchange for orange and black uniforms to signify a special partnership between the Philadelphia Flyers, of the National Hockey League (NHL), and Flyers Charities as they host a Flyers-themed evening when they take on the Minnesota Swarm at Wells Fargo Center on Sunday, February 23 at 4 p.m.
The evening includes a ceremonial face-off lead by Flyers Legend and Hockey Hall of Famer Bernie Parent, Flyers inflatables along the concourse and custom orange and black outfits for the Angels Dance Team.
Following the game, Wings Public Address Announcer Kevin Casey will emcee a live auction of the special Flyers-themed jerseys in the Cure Insurance Club. All proceeds from the auction will benefit Flyers Charities. Several Wings players will be on hand to sign autographs during the live auction.
Tickets are available at a five-dollar discount to Flyers fans by using the designated promo code “FLYERS”. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Flyers Charities. Tickets can be purchased at WingsLAX.com/Flyers.
Tickets for all Wings 2014 home games are available by phone at 215-389-WING or online at WingsLAX.com.
