It’s one of the most exciting times in a player’s career, but if done wrong, it can be one of the most stressful. That’s why NXT Lacrosse is here to help.
NXT Lacrosse will host a College Night this Thursday, Jan. 16 at Saint Joseph’s University’s Foley Center from 7-9 p.m.. NXT coach and Philadelphia Wings assistant captain Brett Manney will emcee the event, which will feature guest speakers like SJU head coach Taylor Wray, Drexel and Wings assistant coach Chris Collins, Cabrini College head coach Steve Colfer and NXT 2014 and Wissahickon senior Luke Gomez, a Hofstra signee.
The event, which is exclusive to NXT Lacrosse members, will help players answer questions as they go through the college lacrosse recruiting process. Wray will discuss Division I recruiting and Collins will tackle the academic process of Division I and how Division I schools recruit.
Colfer will describe the difference between Division I and Division III recruiting and Gomez will draw upon his personal experiences and detail how NXT helped him ink with the Pride.
