St. Joseph’s Preparatory School 2016 midfielder Alex Scalamandre has made a commitment to the admission process of the United States Naval Academy.

Why did you choose Navy? “Navy has always been my first choice for obvious reasons. It is an honor and a privilege to commit to a school of such high academic standards and athletic traditions. I am looking forward to playing for Head Coach (Rick) Sowell and Coaches (Ryan) Wellner and (Michael) Phipps.”
Outlook for 2015 HS season? “The Prep has named Andy German as our new head coach and I am very excited about our prospects.”
