Seneca (N.J.) 2015 attackman Kevin Gray has made a verbal commitment to play Division II lacrosse at the University of Tampa.
Kevin Gray log:

High school: Seneca HS (NJ)
Graduation year: 2015
Position: Attack
College Choice: University of Tampa
Club Affiliation: Braveheart Lacrosse Club
Lacrosse Honors: 1st Team All Conference, Brine High School All American (NJ), Philly Showcase, Peak 200, 150+ Total Career Points
Other Honors, Volunteer Activities: Honor Roll, “Give the Kids the World” Volunteer Program
College major: Business/Finance
Why did you choose Tampa? “I choose University of Tampa due its academics, campus, location and strong lacrosse program. In just a few years, Coach (Rory) Whipple has the Team as one of the top ranked D2 programs in the country. I am excited to play for Coach Whipple who is the winningest coach in D2 history. My HS teammate – Vaughn Butler (Defense) – will also be attending there so look forward to continuing to play with him in college.”
Outlook for this year’s HS Team: “Although we lost a few senior starters from last year’s team which won the Conference and reached the NJ Sectional Championship, we are returning many key players. Seneca HS has 40 wins in past 2 seasons and we hope to continue this winning trend/tradition and compete, again, during playoffs, championship etc.”
Other comments: “I would like to thank Seneca HS Coach Rob Davidson and the Seneca Coaching Staff for helping me get to this point. Also, thanks to Coach Brian Stahre who helped develop and coach me for many years as a Seneca youth player.”
Other schools considered: Rollins, Florida Southern, St Leo, Lynn, Wagner etc.
