Hempfield sophomore defenseman/LSM Will Blair has made a verbal commitment to play Division I lacrosse at the University of Maryland.

Academic honors, service projects: Achieved honors each quarter freshman year, Toys for Tots
What will you major in/study? Undecided
Why did you choose the school? “The campus, atmosphere, academics, coaching staff, and the lacrosse program had everything I was looking for.”
HS team’s outlook for 2014 season? “This past team was great. We won the league championship and we’re going to miss the seniors. I’m very excited for the upcoming season. We have great senior leadership stepping in so it should be a great year.”
