Emmaus senior midfielder Noah Howells has committed to play NJCAA lacrosse at Community College of Baltimore County at Essex.
High school: Emmaus High School
Class: 2014
Position: midfielder
College choice: CCBC Essex
Club Affiliations: Emmaus Sting, sky hawks, Baggataway
Major lacrosse showcases: Dickinson prospect showcase
What will you major in/study: Undecided but most likely business and criminal justice
Why did you choose the school? “The awesome atmosphere the coaching staff and team presented to me on my visit and recruiting process. I could not have felt more at home. I also loved the level of play, competition and location.”
Team’s outlook for 2014 season? “I felt that my high school (Emmaus Hornets) had an awesome season making it to the state playoffs even though we didn’t end it the way we wished. But I know for a fact that our team will only get better from our lessons learned from last season and make another run for the states.”
Other comments: “I would like to first off thank my parents for always being there for me no matter what I did. They were always there for me to make sure I was on the right path for the best outcome of my lacrosse career and, most importantly, life. I would like to personally thank my Head Coach Jef Hewlings from my freshmen year making an awesome impact on me still to this day and also my current Head Coach, Scott Ketcham, who has coached me since my sophomore year and has done an awesome job helping me with my recruiting process and getting me to the next level. The current assistant coaches: Coach Wilson, Coach Speicher, and Coach Desi were also a huge help to get me to that next level so I would like to thank them also! Thank you all so much! There are too many people I can thank for my lacrosse achievements so I am sorry I can not put you all of you on this, but I just want to say THANK YOU.”
