The Cavaliers received six first-place votes, and 36 points total, with Centenary College slotted second (28 points) and Gwynedd Mercy University, which was awarded one first-place vote, third (26).
“It’s an honor to be recognized by our peers,” said Cabrini head coach Steve Colfer. “Our student-athletes have been working hard in the classroom, weight room and on the field to prepare for the upcoming season. We look forward to defending our 2013 CSAC championship.”
Marywood University was voted fourth with 24 points, followed by Immaculata University (14), Neumann University (13), and Rosemont College (6).

Cabrini knocked off Springfield College, 20-8, before suffering a 22-13 setback at the hands of then No. 3-ranked Rochester Institute of Technology in the second round.
Cabrini and Immaculata square off in the first conference clash of 2014 on March 26, with several other contests slated for March 29 and April 2. Each team’s six-game CSAC schedule wraps up on April 24. The semifinals of the four-team CSAC championship tournament are scheduled for April 29, with the CSAC title game taking place on May 3.
