Why did you choose the school? “I love the city of Philadelphia and my hometown, so being close to home and my family was a vital aspect when choosing a college. I loved the coaches, and the team … I can’t wait to become a part of an amazing program that the coaches have built! Its a perfect fit for me both academically and athletically.”

HS team’s Outlook for 2015 HS season? “We have won our league the past three years; we have a very strong program at HH. This year we will be a young team since we lost many impactful seniors, but I have aspirations for our team. Hopefully, we will win our league for the fourth year in a row.”

Other comments: “I want to thank my parents and brother for being so supportive throughout this whole process and driving me to all my games and practices; and my sister, Cortnee, for pushing me and helping me follow her footsteps in becoming a Division 1 lacrosse player!

“I want to thank Jen Duckenfield, Ann Pillion and Michele DeJuliis from Ultimate Goal. They have been so incredibly helpful since I started playing Ultimate. None of this would have been possible without them! I’d also like to thank my high school coaches (Duncan Swezey, Gab Stitz and Laura Swezey) and my HGLC coaches (Will Henry, Deb Lawlor and Jennifer Forcey) for their guidance in helping me become the player I am today.

“And finally I want to thank my high school and club teammates for helping me become the player I am today. Without them this would not be possible. They’re the best!”

Other schools considered? Stetson University, Quinnipiac University, Saint Joes University, Fresno State
