What will you major in/study? Biology or Public Health

Why did you choose school? “What set F&M apart was the opportunity to compete at a top level lacrosse program while balancing strong academics, which were both really important to me. When I went on my overnight visit, I had the chance to connect with the players and I could tell they were the kind of people I’d want to spend four year with. I’ve also gotten to know Coach (Mike) Faith this year and can’t say enough good things about the way he runs his program. It’s exactly what I was looking for.

Outlook for your High School team for 2015? “Even though we’ve got a lot of seniors graduating this year, Garnet Valley has a lot of talented underclassmen anxious to step into those spots. I’m excited to see what we can accomplish in 2015.”

Thank You:
“I’d like to thank Coach Jenny Purvis and Coach Jamie Wesztergom at Garnet Valley for believing in me and helping me grow as a player. They create such a positive environment where we work hard, have fun, and know they really care about us as people.

“I’d also like to thank ChristyAnn Morello and my Brandywine Majors coaches, Alison Burns, Stephany Parcell, Maryann Miller, and Lauren Henwood for all of their instruction and support and for the great summer tournament memories.

“I’m also grateful to Donna Coyne, F&M lacrosse alum and Majors coach, for all of her guidance and support through the recruiting process. I’m proud to be following in her footsteps!

“I’d like to thank my family for their lifelong support. I’m grateful to my grandparents for coming to all of my games, rain or shine, and cheering me on in every aspect of life. I’d like to thank my sisters, Hailey and Taylor, for being my best friends from day one. I’ve truly loved growing up playing sports with them, and they bring out the best in me. Watching Taylor’s determination in battling back from her knee injury this year has truly been an inspiration.

“Last but not least, I’m so grateful to my parents, who have been running me to lacrosse tournaments and practices since third grade, coaching my teams, and teaching me about life every step of the way. They have always been my biggest fans.”
