Archbishop Carroll High School sophomore midfield-attack Meghan Matey has made a commitment to play Division I lacrosse at The Ohio State University.

Why did you choose OSU? “I love the campus, facilities and the school spirit. I also felt very comfortable with the coaching staff. On the academic side, they offer a vast array of majors and support.”
What is your team’s outlook for the season? “So far we are having a good season and have great leadership from our seniors and juniors. We look forward to defending our Catholic title and look to compete for a State championship”
Additional Comments: “I’d like to thank my High School coach Lorraine Beers. She has been very helpful in guiding me and my parents. I’d also like to thank my travel coach Laurie Markle and Dynamite’s Club director, Maureen Burger. A special thanks to Jen Sterritt who first got me involved with lacrosse in 6th grade. Lastly, I’d like to thank my parents, siblings and friends for all their help and support.”
