Lacrosse Evolution is now collecting or accepting any new or used lacrosse equipment of any kind for donation to the Philadelphia Lacrosse Association.

Equipment such as helmets, gloves, sticks, goggles, arm pads, shoulder pads, chest protectors or others are accepted. Donations will be given to players in need through the PLA programs that are involved with your lacrosse or new players.

Every year the collection gets bigger and bigger and it’s right about this time where Lacrosse Evolution starts getting phone calls and emails. This collection program also connects the Team Philadelphia lacrosse clubs with the donations in hopes of helping the PLA grow the game.

“We are excited to do this around the holidays, or really whenever,” said Lacrosse Evolution’s Tom Slate. “I don’t think anyone should be held out or back because they can’t afford equipment.”

This week Lacrosse Evolution will have two collection boxes, one at each of its facilities in Downingtown and King of Prussia to make handling and transporting all of the equipment and little easier. Please contact the location prior to drop off at the Downingtown or King of Prussia Training Centers.
