The Intercollegiate Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association honored the late Bill Lawson, a former head lacrosse coach at Lafayette, with the IMLCA Creators Memorial Award at the IMLCA Convention in Baltimore last weekend.
The IMLCA Creators Award is bestowed periodically to an IMLCA member for achievements in the core areas of advocacy, leadership, education, honor, spirit and service to the game of lacrosse.
Lawson spent 31 years on the sidelines as the head coach of the Leopards, and won more than 150 games during his time at Lafayette.
